Our Sweet Homes are located in and around
the artsy town of Yachats Oregon (pronounced:
Ya-hots.) Though we would understand if you
never wandered far from your beautiful house
and beach, you may also be interested in
exploring some of the wonderful opportunities
for ocean views, hikes, play, or great cuisine
along the Central Oregon coast. Below are some
of our favorite places, activities, and restaurants
that we can personally recommend.

Here you will find a grocery store to stock up on all
your provisions and several restaurants that are
worth a second bite, as well as galleries, shops
and a beautiful beach
.

Heceta Head is one of the most beautiful
lighthouses in the world. It is the
brightest light on the Oregon coast and it
is said to be the most photographed
lighthouse in the United States.

The Queen Anne style Keeper’s House
has been restored to its original
splendor. It now serves as an Interpretive
Center by day, complete with
lighthouse tours, and an exquisite Bed
and Breakfast by night. The walk to the
lighthouse is easy and beautiful as you
wander up through lush forest along the
coast to the historical landmark of Heceta
Head Lighthouse.
