A Strong Local Presence
We have local property managers on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When your guests call they will not be greeted by a call center or someone located far from the Oregon coast. Guests and prospective renters with questions or issues, will talk directly to one of our local property managers or a Sweet Homes vacation planner and sales specialist that are located here, on the Central Oregon Coast.
Sweet Homes employs local housekeepers, handymen, and other service providers who are experienced, licensed, trustworthy, and trained to be part of the Sweet Homes team and to uphold our standards. If problems arise at your home, our on-call manager will work with our local team of providers to resolve the issue efficiently, effectively, and professionally.
We have two local offices that are open to the public and have a friendly staff to answer any questions and assist with bookings.

Our Team consists of highly qualified, hard-working personnel that are dedicated to the successful operation of your vacation rental. The guests have access to the Guest Services Team in 2 physical offices, open 7 days/week, and an emergency line (answered by a local employee) for all after-hours calls. You and your guests have a designated manager, your Owner's Representative, who will know all the ins and outs of your home.

Great Guests
Sweet Homes has strict rules and policies that your guests must agree to before finalizing their rental. And we're the only company on the Central Coast who does a face-to-face check-in at your home when your guests arrive.
Minimum age to rent: With Sweet Homes, the primary renter needs to be at least 26 years old, and so do the majority of the guests (unless it's a family with children, of course!).
No Party Policy: We don't allow parties, weddings, or other events in our homes. There is too much of a chance for problems and damage when groups congregate in homes, to say nothing of issues with neighbors, parking, garbage, and the like. Your guests can relax and celebrate whatever occasion draws them to the beach, but no guest list, caterers, or other semblances of parties or events are allowed.
Maintenance & Hot Tub Program
Our maintenance program also covers minor preventative maintenance measures to decrease possible issues that could arise while your home is rented. With us, there's no nickel and diming to cover calls to your home when the guest can't figure out the TV remote or billing for an expensive maintenance person to fix a running toilet. And if you have a hot tub, we take care of minor repairs and provide the products to keep it clean.
Services covered under our "Stay Relaxed Maintenance Program" include :
Trip charges for in-guests requests
Replacement of light bulbs
Troubleshoot and ignite gas fireplace pilots or wood fireplace flu operation
Pick up loose trash around the property (as long as you have a bear-proof can that is
adequate for the size of your home)
Up to 30 minutes of on-site basic troubleshooting and minor repairs for appliances,
electronics, wireless, and cable TV
Delivery and pick up of loaner items and propane (and no charge for loaner items)
Trip charge due to guest dropping or losing keys and key copies
Lubricate locks; clean window and slider tracks
Reset breakers and hot tubs
Plunge toilets and clear small drain clogs
Secure towel bars and toilet paper holders
Deliver and/or repair game table accessories
Turn off septic or sump pump alarms

As a result, Sweet Homes is run from a homeowners perspective. We pride ourselves on providing top-notch customer service to our homeowners, and our team takes care of your home as if it were our own, while also providing outstanding service to your guests to keep them coming back.
We Provide Linens & Supplies
Sweet Homes also provides many of the supplies that are used by your guests. These items include, but are not limited to: toilet paper, facial tissue, paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, body wash, dish soap, dishwasher soap, rinse aid, sponge, foil, saran wrap, ziploc bags, salt, pepper, oil, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, stain remover, glass cleaner, all purpose cleaner, cleanser, three types of garbage bags, dog biscuits, and doggie waste disposal bags.
We Meet and Greet Each Guest
We personally meet your guest at your home and walk them through the house to ensure that any problems are noted (and if not, any problems we find at the end of their stay are fairly attributed to them), to show them how things work and where things are, and to answer any questions that they might have for us. This is also an opportunity for us to remind them of our policies and again have them sign-off on them. It allows your property manager to meet every group of guests, to personalize the interaction, and to ensure that there are the correct number of guests, cars, and dogs (if applicable) in your home.
Note: during the COVID-19 pandemic we have temporarily suspended our personal greetings but we have implemented a mandatory electronic tablet check in system that asks all the same questions!
