The ocean was literally just a few feet away! Front row seat (heated) to the most beautiful sunsets, storms, and waves… easy access to everywhere, beautiful trail, great restaurants. The house was clean, bed was comfy, and had all the necessities - market and Dollar Store nearby for what is needed. Will be back.

Million dollar views on a quiet street. The 804 Trail (Oregon Coast Trail) was right outside the door and a real treat to access. Yachats truly is a gem of a town. We enjoyed the nostalgic decor. Local hosting company made the whole experience seamless.

Lovely, homey property right on the gorgeous rocky Oregon coast. Surf watching from the living, dining and kitchen rooms, no matter the weather. Easy walk to the town of Yachats, for groceries and many dining options, or stroll north along the 804 to a long sandy beach. Perfect vacation spot.

This home is cozy and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the ocean right out front. The hot tub was the absolute best!! So clean, warm, and so relaxing. Everything about this home is perfect, Highly recommended!

Jazz music was playing when we entered and helped to create a calm transition as we unpacked the car with our 2 dogs. Everything was clean and the sunlight made it brighter than in the photos. But the reason to stay here is if you want nothing between you and the waves crashing below except a small patch of grass. Also walkable into town or on the trail to the sandy beach. A perfect spot to unwind!

When we walked in, we were in awe of the spectacular ocean views. It was a cozy little beach house with nice gathering space for us to watch the sunsets from the living room or back deck. Love the dining table, with large windows for ocean viewing. We played many hours of Mah Jongg at that table and enjoyed meals cooked in the well-appointed kitchen. There is a path to the beach just one house over and we enjoyed exploring the rocky beach area at low tide. The house is literally situated on the 804 trail and we walked to the wetlands, the state park and downtown Yachats. Short daily drives took us to Cape Perpetua (a must see!) and the coastal towns of Waldport and Newport. When we had a question upon check-in, the host/management company got back to us within minutes. The place has the feel of walking into your grandmother’s house… not fancy, but so comfortable and inviting. Would definitely stay here again!

We spent two days in this cozy ocean front home with our dog. We were able to easily walk the cliffs along the 804 trail and take a stroll into town. Unbeatable. Excellent and responsive property management too! We'll be back.

Comfy location, a few hundred feet from the ocean. You can access the ocean from the back yard by scrambling down the rocks, but it's easier than it sounds. Hot tub was perfect. House is a little older but has everything you could need.

Within easy walking distance to the center of Yachats, the location of this house is wonderful with views of the Pacific Ocean, tidal pools and access to the 804 trail. Because of the cool evenings, we were even able to have a fire in the fireplace in the middle of summer. We'll definitely be back!

My two cousins and I were looking for a place by the ocean as our home base for our Oregon coast trip, and we fell in love with the photos of this house. We could picture ourselves sitting in the kitchen or living room and looking out at the ocean through those big windows. In real life, the house exceeded our expectations! Check-in was easy - there was a tablet waiting for us containing all the information we possibly could have wanted. Everything was very clean and well organized. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with equipment (I loved the coffee maker with options for a full pot or a single cup). They do specify beforehand that you should bring your own kitchen gear if there's something specific you need - the pans were pretty basic, but they were fine for our needs. We really loved the nearby 804 trail. We had a beautiful walk along the rocky coast, and we were shocked when we ended up at a huge, gorgeous, pristine beach! This is not a new, fancy house with a lot of bells and whistles - it's a real, comfy, peaceful place that feels like home. We couldn't have asked for more!

Great location in a quiet neighborhood right on the edge of the ocean. Beautiful spot for storm and sunset watching. The house was clean and neat, and worked OK for four adults, but felt a bit crowded when everybody got together in the living/dining room area. Sitting in the hot tub looking out over the ocean was a pretty awesome bonus!

We loved the view. The warm sun hits in the afternoon and you can get a lot of sun enjoying the deck with views to the ocean. The couch and table also had a great view to the sea and are comfortable. The deck chairs were also relaxing to sit in on the deck. There were no negatives. The house has everything you need for  a easy check in. The tablet pad provides all the pertinent info you need about the home. The neighborhood is quiet. You are close to the Adobe Hotel and the ocean walking path is quite beautiful. Whales were passing bye and you will see sea lions, seals, and many birds. Loved our stay and hope for another chance to do it again!!

Great location, right next to the ocean, we didn't expect it would be so close. In late December ocean was creating a lot of foam, and this foam is often blowed up to a grass in front of the house, like a snow, it was very unusual and nice experience. Close to a lot of scenic viewpoints along the coast, and to a couple of small towns. The house itself is quite small and smaller that we thought, but enough for 4 adults. It's also a little dated but good for a cabin. The hot tub with the ocean view is great.

Enjoy the best backyard in Yachats at this precious ocean-front home. You will find everything to make you comfortable. Watching the sunset while soaking in the hot tub is sheer bliss! The location is an easy walk to town (avoid the traffic and parking hassles) and right on the 804 Trail. Love visiting Yachats and this home fits our needs perfectly.

The views are amazing! Place is great to unwind and recharge, especially in the hot tub outside. I like how its situated where you have privacy but can still see the ocean. Kitchen has everything you could ask for and the garage parking makes it easy to unload when it was raining. Would definitely love to go back.

This home has everything you need to be comfortable with an amazing view of the stunning Pacific Ocean. You are right there on the shoreline and we were only able to enjoy this because of this is a pet friendly rental. The little town of Yachats is charming, filled with wonderful locals, fresh seafood and a great Brewery! Location, comfort and value, stay at Beyond the Sea!!

This is a nice beach house for a family of 4. The location is perfect, if you like privacy and also enjoy easy access to the beach trail. The house is a close walk to Yachats, with a beautiful ocean view along the way. The neighborhood was quiet and not much auto traffic. The house is clean. We thought it was warm and cozy. No carpet and no pet smell! The home was fully stocked with linens, towels, kitchen accessories, and etc.. The hot tub was clean and delightful. Especially, at night, under a star filled sky! We definitely would stay there again.

My Husband and I honeymooned in Yachats 19 years ago and the place we stayed is now gone. So finding this place was just perfect. Came to enjoy the area with another couple and they loved it too. Perfect place for 2 couples. Located right on the beach of the rugged Oregon Coast Line. In a tiny little town with a great big personality.

Yachats is one of those little hidden gems, in our opinion, for a beautiful rocky shore line and wave action. The view from the back deck of Beyond the Sea is a 5 star, hands down. Great ocean wave action and critters to view. The beds are comfy and we found some nice sharp knives (that's pretty unusual), lots of towels to use and the hot tub was really nice to have there. The management team at Sweet Homes was very nice and helpful with any of our questions.

Spectacular views of the waves crashing against the rock formations with a huge lawn out to the ocean. The home is so comfortable for small families with or without pets. Everything was clean with a fully equipped kitchen and linens. It is walking distance to town! A great getaway.

We just loved our stay at Beyond The Sea! It was so wonderful to be right on the beach and the house's windows gave us a perfect view! We enjoyed the fireplace while watching the waves crashing and the seagulls picking off the mussels. We sat in the hot tub and could see up and down the coast after walking the trail and to the downtown area. We will definitely rent again from Sweet Homes Rentals!

Couldn't ask for a better location. The view is amazing and although a rock beach right in front of the house, you can walk further north or south of the house and find soft sand beaches. It is also close to parks and downtown area. The house was just big enough for four people and dog and well decorated.

Beyond the Sea was a dream come true. This home is in a perfect location to explore the Oregon coast, as well as the numerous state parks nearby. Hearing the sounds of the ocean, with a relaxing fire each night was just what the Dr. ordered. The home was clean, and well maintained and had everything you could need and more. I highly recommend this property. Be sure to stop by Strawberry Hill Point to view the seals, and the nearby Waldport farmers market on Wednesdays was a delight. Local Oceans restaurant in Newport serves up a delicious dinner. This house was a complete delight.

My husband and I have a small dog and wanted to stay in an oceanfront rental. After a lot of searching we decided upon 'Beyond the Sea'. This house and location were beyond our expectations. The panoramic view of the Pacific coast was spectacular! The house was very tastefully furnished and immaculate. The owner's pay a lot of attention to detail to ensure their guests are completely satisfied. The kingsize bed in the master bedroom was one of the most comfortable we'd ever slept on. We had all the amenities we needed and it was great to have reliable wi-fi and a big screen HD tv with lots of channels to choose from. We would walk out of the front door and walk for several miles along the Yachats 804 Trail. After the long walks we would relax in the fantastic hot tub on the back deck and soak in all the sounds and sights of the ocean. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay and appreciate having had the opportunity.

And Kate and Todd were spectacular to work with - they were willing to give suggestions and help with anything we needed to make our trip perfect. We've stayed at Beyond the Sea twice now and it will always be our first choice for our Oregon vacations. The home is lovely and clean, the bed so very comfy. We love the hot tub and especially the new privacy screen. The ocean views are wonderful and the access to the beach on the 804 trail is great.
