What a beautiful home. The pictures don’t even do the view justice. If you are looking to disconnect and relax this is the place for you. Extremely comfortable beds and great amenities. The jar of dog treats was a thoughtful touch also. My dogs and I will be back.

We came in February, and sure enough it was stormy for 5 of our 7 days. But I couldn't think of a better place to be! We walked dogs on the beach between squalls and had our morning coffee in the hot tub (occasionally with hail, but who cared?). When the wind blew too hard and the rain pelted like ammunition, we enjoyed billiards and movies upstairs in the loft. I can imagine this would be a fabulous place with more sunshine, but it was dramatic and cozy even with Oregon Coastal weather.

Location is in a beautiful spot right on the beach. The house was nicely designed and decorated, and even had a small yard. It's a short drive to Yachats where we found great food and local coffee shops. Oh, and the hot tub was impeccably clean!

We needed a peaceful beautiful place for a relaxing family vacation… this was perfect! With a gorgeous view of the ocean, comfortable living spaces, well-stocked kitchen, and plenty of games and puzzles for entertainment… we loved our stay!! We spent many hours on the beach… walking, playing with our dogs, and flying kites… very private and quiet. Yachats is a quaint, small town… We found incredible fresh seafood to prepare at home, a delicious bakery, and cute coffee shop. We especially appreciated the small pool table/ping pong upstairs… hours of fun! The hot tub was a nice touch as well!! We will definitely come back!

Excellent location. We were there during the historic coastal storms in 2023, so it rained every day. However, the house was very comfortable and easy to relax in. We built puzzles, played games, and ran our dogs around on the beach in the rain. The cabin has a nice rustic feel, but had everything needed for our stay. The view out of the West facing windows was fantastic. Yachats is right down the road, super quaint little town with some great restaurants.

Our entire stay at this beach cabin was absolutely perfect! We enjoyed our daily walks on the beach (almost always had the entire beach to ourselves), ping pong & pool challenges w/ the kids, sitting on the couch and watching the waves, beautiful nightly sunsets, and so much more! I’m an elementary teacher and this was exactly what I needed to rest & recharge for the upcoming school year. We loved Yachats and will definitely be returning every summer.

This place is an absolute gem! The log home is beautiful and rustic and the decor is great. The ocean views do not disappoint and the hot tub is a relaxing way to unwind while listening to the sounds of the ocean. The best part about this house is the privacy and location. The trees surrounding the property make you feel like there are no neighbors and the beach is wide open space and we only saw a few people each day. It was like we had the entire Oregon Coast to ourselves, so perfect. Yachats is such a cute little town and only minutes away. The house set-up is perfect for families. We let the kids make the loft their "kids club" with all the games and ping pong table and TV. The hot tub was very clean and easy to use. We used the BBQ grill one night to cook dinner and it worked perfectly. With kids getting sandy at the beach it was also very nice to have laundry on-site to wash clothes. Sweet Homes was very responsive with their messages and gave us a late check-out on the last day when we requested some extra time. Usually we are ready to go home at the end of a vacation, but this trip we just wanted to stay forever. We will miss waking up to the ocean waves each day, but we will be back next year!

We had a fantastic stay! The beach is just steps from the door. Very nice and quiet, other than the sound of the ocean. Very convenient to different things to see and do. The local views are incredible. The house is roomy and has a nice loft area where you can hang out and watch TV if you want to. We liked the mid-century modern styling that was chosen for the furniture. The windows facing the beach provide a perfect view of the ocean and the sunset. We plan to stay there again in the future.

We loved our week long holiday. Was like being at our own home sweet home. View was great. House super clean and cozy. Beds were really nice, great sheets and lots of pillows. Slept Great with our 2 dogs, grandparents, 3 year old and newborn. Great to have entertainment tv and games upstairs and separate from the rest of the house. Lots of space for a family to spread out. Had lovely walks daily on the beach. We will be back. Hoping to make this trip more regularly and get to stay at this same great beach house!

This place is really great. My children definitely enjoyed the cool factor of a staying in a log home, which thankfully for us parents was very well furnished and updated. Great views of the beach, truly just a few steps away to the sand and private enough so no crowds to deal with. My kids have already requested we stay here again!

Would book over and over again and plan to. Not walking distance from Yachats but doesn't need to be you have so much at this airbnb (also it's a four minute drive at most). Amazing views, FULLY stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. So easy to check in and out. Amazing stay.

This is an AMAZING home with access to a beautiful sandy beach. We had the best time! The house is comfortable and has the best views of the ocean. The house is located near the adorable town of Yachats (make sure to check out Green Salmon Coffee Company for great food and coffee!) and within a short drive of some fabulous hiking spots. Devil's Churn and Neptune beach were 2 of our favorites. However, there is SO much more to see and explore in this area. We are so looking forward to our next stay with Sweet Homes and on the Oregon coast!

This house was beautiful and was just what we needed! House was exactly as described and had all the amenities we needed. Hot tub was great after a day of hiking the trails south of Yachats. Location was perfect - easy travel to either Newport or Florence. Yachats itself is a charming town with a lot of great shops (the rock shop owner is AMAZING) and restaurants. Would definitely recommend to friends and will stay here again if we head back to Oregon!

We loved our stay at Blue Moon. It is a cross between a cool, rustic beach house and a beautiful log cabin in the most excellent location. I am from the Oregon Coast and this is a rare find. The view and location cannot be beat. The section of beach, reached by a short, private patch to a very mellow, clean beautiful beach has very little foot traffic and is perfect for families and dogs. The private yard in front is nice and green and out of the wind and adjacent to the seemingly new hot tub which is also totally private and very nice (nice beach towels provided). The loft has the most spectacular view but is a little treacherous for kids or anyone with mobility issues. Beds are a 5 or 6 our of 10. Lots of nice blankets, pillows and towels. Everything worked great. The kitchen has everything as far as pots and pans and utensils. Slightly scarce on silverware. If you have a big group, you might want to bring extra. One thing to keep in mind. it's rustic, it's not a fancy, new beach house. It has a cool, historic yet comfortable updated vibe with an artsy charm and an absolutely priceless location.

We stayed 3 nights. Overall the experience was very enjoyable. There is a nice ocean view from the property and a sense of seclusion. The neighboring homes, although relatively near, are mostly screened from view. Access to the beach is very easy and you can walk for long distances along the beach in either direction except at high tide. Also the nearness to Yachats is convenient for last minute shopping. Only disappointments were no view of the ocean from hot tub which is somewhat misleading from website photo, and problems with electrical system which include poor lighting downstairs. Also, we blew the circuit breaker (and I got a shock) when plugging in the air hockey game upstairs. I reported this to the property manager and assume it will be taken care of. While not a problem for us, some may find the lack of a dishwasher and garbage disposal inconvenient. Overall I would recommend this log home for a nice getaway and would return.

Really nice located property on the beach with a feeling of privacy. Good quality furnishings including large comfortable beds. Easy to keep clean, even with a dog and the inevitable sand. Airy and relaxing atmosphere, exactly what we were looking for.

My wife and I stayed at the Blue Moon Beach rental for our 3rd anniversary. The location and rental itself were perfect for our long weekend. The quick access to the beach, sunset views from the porch, and the sound of the ocean at night made for a much-needed and relaxing getaway. Highly recommend this rental.

The beach was very windy when we were there. So much so it was too cold for our kids to play out there. Not sure if that is typical of this area or not. But kids loved the pool table, ping pong and air hockey. And we always love watching the waves roll in off the shore!

This place is amazing. We rented this cabin on the coast and while it was between two other properties we didn't see or hear the neighbors once. It's own beach access was quite nice and the spa between the cabin and the ocean made for some amazing evenings. The difference between hight tide and low tide was amazing. There was over 100 yards of additional beach at low tide. We were not required to sweep launder or tidy up. The upstairs game room was great for the kids. We would definitely stay here again.

What a great weekend we had in this true log cabin! The house was warm and cozy once we got the fire going. There was no shortage of supplies or hot water. The hot tub was clean and the sandy beach is just a short stumble through the bushes. We would absolutely come back to this house!
