Just my husband and I. The place was cozy and had everything that we needed. Lots of towels and washcloths. I always pack spices and my own oil but they did have salt & pepper and some oil spray. We enjoyed watching the boats with their crab pots and people fishing in the bay. Enjoyed watching birds and seals from our porch and from inside. Good location to go North or South. Would definitely recommend!!!

We had a wonderful time at the beach. The house is well stocked and very comfortable. It is well suited for 5 adults. The beach is a one minute drive. The scenery from the house is great…a view of the bay, the bridge and the ocean. Will definitely come again!

We did not see the cushions on the outdoor deck chairs but it was still a nice outdoor space. Super clean!!! There is road noise. It didn't bother us any and they are clear in the listing that it's right on 101. It actually felt very private and peaceful for being right on 101. It was great to grab breakfast next door. The yard was nice to let the dog poke around though they do need to stay on leash bc there is a steep drop. Seal Rock is a short drive and a fabulous beach!

We enjoyed our time in Waldport. Good location on the bay with nice views, and within walking distance to the beach, and a fantastic coffee shop just up the road. The house was as described, was clean, and cozy. The only downside of this location is the entrance to the property. It’s a tight turn if you’re coming from the north. We figured out how to manage it quickly though, so it wasn’t an issue. We’d still stay here again!

We stayed at Gaia’s point July 2nd -5th for both our 27th anniversary & the fireworks. It was the perfect place to see the fireworks from. They let them off right across the bay in the sand so was literally right in front of us. The staff at Sweet home rentals were so helpful helping us find the perfect place for the fireworks, suggested a great sushi place & helped us find the place in a detour. The cottage was cute with a great view. Loved the view from the dining room & the front room & having a kitchen along with the picnic table in front. Only suggestions would be to have a little propane firepit for the cold foggy days. Would definitely recommend & would stay again.

First off, we had a great time. The property was clean and appeared well kept. It sits right on the Alsea Bay, but you have to walk down a very tight shoulder towards town to access the beach. There is a restaurant right next door that was good and a coffee shop about half a mile away heading south. Overall, a very relaxing and enjoyable stay for the family and our dog.

The house was in great shape, had good updates and was just what we were looking for. The view from the deck and via windows was great, we watched the boats come and go in the channel and could see the tide come up and go down. The house was comfortable and worked well for us.

Check in was smoothe, the house was as advertised. The kids loved the bunk beds in the second room. Each night we would see seals playing in the harbor and watch them with our binoculars. House is just outside of Waldport. Oh, and their cleaning fee actually pays for cleaning unlike many other listings that wasn't you to have the house absolutely spotless when you check out with all the linens cleaned and dried!

We loved staying here! The views were incredible, the location perfect and the home was overall comfortable and clean. The check-in was incredibly convenient. Entering the front door with a code that was familiar to us was brilliant! Then the tablet check-in was easy to use and we found everything ready for us to enjoy. There were plenty of towels and a stocked kitchen as well as a nice washer, dryer, and dishwasher. The beds had plenty of blankets and pillows and the bathroom was modern, fresh, and clean. We loved watching a movie one evening. But most days were spent beach combing, hiking, and watching sunsets so we were gone the entire day both days. Coming back to a clean home in a great location each night was wonderful. One night we walked next door to the Hilltop Cafe and had a delicious dinner. Highly recommend their restaurant. Overall, we'd love to return to stay here again someday and will tell our friends and family about it. Thank you!

The cottage was a great place to unwind for a couple days. We have very small dogs so the fence was not great as they could slip through but for medium or Large sized dogs it would be perfect. I would recommend highly!!

We and our dogs loved our stay. The house was clean and cozy with excellent views of the bay and bridge. It was great just being able to watch through the big windows the tides come in and out. We enjoyed being able to walk down to the beach via the access point about a 3-min walk away. The kitchen was well supplied with plenty of pots, dishes, and utensils; also, the house had good wifi. The bedrooms are on the road side of the house, however; there was hardly any traffic at night and the noise machines provides helped drown out the sounds of the few vehicles passing by. Overall, it was a great place to stay and we would definitely stay here again.

A really nice little house that overlooks the bay! We stayed with another couple and there was plenty of room for all of us. It has a washer/dryer for those of you who like to do laundry during your stay and a full kitchen with all the basics! We were very pleased with the contactless check in/check out, everything was perfect.

We loved our stay! Clean, comfortable cottage with ocean view. Kitchen was well appointed, and had everything we needed to make meals during our stay. Fenced in yard was perfect for our pet. Having a working bbq grill on-site was a bonus. The host was very responsive to my questions. Cottage was very close to beach access. Highly recommend!

You'd pass this place on the 101 without thinking this could be a great spot to rent but it definitely is! The house was very clean and very well equipped. The views and the garden filled with flowers make this place a jackpot. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Really enjoyed staying here and hope to visit again in the near future.
