This home exceeded our expectations. From the spacious, clean interior to the fabulous deck with hot tub overlooking the ocean, it was exactly what we needed for a relaxing break. Situated right between Yachats and Newport, there were plenty of activities to keep us busy for our 4 day stay.

We had a great stay at the house. It was very clean, and everything was comfortable and well-maintained. It was a lovely setting with a private backyard that was nicely landscaped and safely fenced for the dogs. Great access to local beach parks and good restaurants in nearby towns. It's on a quiet street and it made for a prefect vacation getaway for us. We would love to stay there again.

Overall we LOVED this place. It's 20 minutes to Newport. Peaceful, private and had a stocked kitchen with everything you'd need if you choose to stay in and cook, It even had a bottle opener & utensils to eat crab, enough dishes to serve a crowd. Short drive to beach accesses, 2 minutes from the house. Beds were super soft with comfortable pillows. 2 fans if you like air circulation.Lots of towels both for guests and hottub. We would definitely stay here again!

Came to celebrate our mother’s 95th birthday. It was perfect for our family. The house is so comfortable, views are amazing, can’t wait to return. We will try to schedule our vacations around the availability of this house. Loved it.

Had a great coastal getaway at the dog friendly Happy Clam. Response time on chat was very quick. Loved the fenced back yard for the dogs to run and tire out. Beautiful landscape and great location for venturing out, or staying in playing games. Definitely would book with Sweet Homes again.

This house has amazing views. The rooms are spacious and each had sitting areas to relax and take in the views. Comfortable home and it a had a full kitchen that was perfect for our crab feed after a successful day on the bay.

We had 8 people, including an infant and a 5 year old, the rest adults and there was more than enough room for everyone! We could hear and see the ocean from the backyard, and stunning views could be found across both floors of the house. The game room with shuffleboard was a hit, and the home was packed with everything we could need. We were all super impressed with this place, it was perfect!

This house was awesome. It was clean, close to the beach and was exactly as advertised. The rooms were decorated beautifully with great views of the ocean from the upstairs rooms. The back yard had beautiful bushes and trees. We drove to the beach (it is walkable, but a 2 minute quick drive) with our dogs and spent hours there fetching them. The beach wasn’t busy at all and we were the only ones there one day. We spent the evenings playing Pac-Man, Galaga, shuffle board, air hockey and putting together puzzles. Would definitely stay again.

This house is an absolute gem! Easy walk to the beach (just note you have to cross main busy road) and so clean and cozy! The beds are SUPER comfy and the kids loved playing on the back deck and exploring the backyard. Highly recommend.

We fell in love with this property the moment we stepped through the front door. Beautiful views from almost every room and wonderful personal touches that made it feel like home from the get-go. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed for cooking all of our meals in. The only let down was the game room in the garage - the joystick on the Galaga game was broken and the Roll'n'Score wasn't there as pictured. But it didn't really matter because there was so much else to do! Wi-Fi was fairly strong and when the rain forced us indoors there was a large collection of games, movies and books to occupy us. The property is close to both Yachats and Waldport, and beach access is available from two state parks within a few minutes drive. Stargazing was amazing on the nights that were clear, sitting around the campfire enjoying s'mores and old time radio shows. And the hot tub was just icing on the cake. Highly recommend this property and Sweet Homes Rentals - we will definitely book again.

We loved this place! My family stayed for a week. We loved the view and it was convenient for exploring towns and beautiful spots close by. Only a short distance from beach access. It was well stocked with dishes, cooking items and glassware. We utilized the hot tub daily and the fire pit once for s’mores. We tended to be home in the afternoons and saw whales every day! Sweet Homes was very responsive to our questions. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking at the ocean-very peaceful and relaxing. Overall, a very comfortable home and we we love to stay again.

We had a great time at this location! Public beaches near were incredible and there were barely any other people there. Beautiful views & we could whale watch from the porch! We traveled with 3 children and 2 dogs and had plenty of room! We absolutely will stay again when life brings us back to the Oregon Coast!

Beautiful house with a stunning view of the ocean. The yard was extremely nice making this a great vacation spot for us and our fur babies. The house had a variety of cooking utensils making it possible for us to cook and eat at the house which was super convenient. The house was clean, the rooms were large and spacious. The large deck and hot tub overlooking the ocean was amazing, The upstairs bedrooms both have beautiful ocean views also. The game room in the garage was fun for the kids. There were a few issues with the BBQ elements rusting and burning out and a sink leaking but the rental company responded quickly and the owners replaced the BBQ the next day and checked on the plumbing. You can’t walk to the beach from the house but there are several beach access areas wishin a few minutes drive from the house.

Our family had such a great time at the happy clam! We love Waldport and visit once a year. Beds we’re comfortable and clean, tv in each room. Yard is awesome and hot tub was a nice bonus! The ocean views are breathtaking. We’ll definitely be going back!

We enjoyed a really great stay! The house was mostly stocked very well. The beds and surroundings were comfortable and we appreciated being able to have a king bed turned into 2 twins. The kitchen was nice and we liked that there was enough dish detergent tabs and laundry soap. The yard and deck were lovely for kids and adults, alike. You’ll love the big windows to overlook the ocean! Our first impressions were “wow”. It was comfortable for two families with kids of various ages. I’m quite sure this works for most people, and we found the drive to town, beach and local attractions quite easy.

We loved the space. There's lots of room to spread out and relax. We visited during a cold rainy weekend, having a great view and cozy space allowed us to enjoy the beach from a distance. The house was well stocked and the beds were comfy. The kids loved walking around the garden to explore. I thought the location would be disappointing (no direct beach access) but it wasn't a problem. We just drove 1/2 mile to the nearest beach and it was still convenient.

Beds were very comfortable which is something I'm always skeptical about at Airbnb's, however we were pleasantly surprised :)

The check in was super simple it's done contact free with a tablet, if you need more linens you can order that on the tablet as well and they have a washer and dryer, this place would be perfect for a big family with kids they would be in heaven at this place, hell the adults were in heaven great hot tub and view, I would highly recommend this place and would stay again myself.

This place was really nice! It is on the left of the highway but it's on a little hill high enough up that you can see and hear the beach. The hot tub outside was soooo nice. The yard is beautiful, so nice for dogs. Beds super comfy. Would definitely stay again.

Nice house with nice view of the ocean. Beach access is not obvious but available through a path between houses on the street across the highway. Highway noise was noticeable but not bothersome. The hot tub was great and the beds were very comfortable.

Big house with really awesome views of the ocean. Great house for big groups of people and family's. Not far of a walk to walk down to the beach. The communication with the host was great. Loved having a hot tub to use at night. The property grounds was really maintained well. I would say only bad thing about the location is it's near the main road so if your outside it's a little noisy.

This was the perfect location for our family to quarantine on the Oregon Coast for Thanksgiving. The house is across the 101 from the ocean but the views were amazing. There was a short walk to the beach and we loved walking there everyday. The house was well stocked with cookware for making our large Thanksgiving meal. It was a great week.

This place has it all! Literally so much to do both inside and outside. We had 7 kids and they never got bored. The backyard was an incredible place to explore and the home was perfect for a vacation at the Ocean. Would highly recommend!!
