The house is spacious and has lots of room for multiple guests. Very quiet and private, with gorgeous views. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and amenities. The hot tub was lovely too!

The house was beautiful and the view was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would like to say that if you are elderly this might not be the place for you. We’re all in our mid 60’s and we did fine but there’s a lot of steps in the house. I really enjoyed the outside deck, listening to the ocean waves and the birdsong.

The home was wonderful. Very private for being so close to shops and food. The balconies are beautiful. Could watch the tides roll in whole drinking morning coffee. The deep soaking tub is so relaxing too.

What a perfect way to spend my birthday on the Oregon coast. This property in Yachats is brilliantly situated with lovely views of the ocean, mountains and town. The house itself is retro - it has a sunken living room and fireplace - but not too dated and with all the expected updates. Lots of space to spread out, relax and enjoy this beautiful stretch of the coast. The kitchen and bathrooms were great, the beds very comfortable and we enjoyed the short walk into town for restaurants, shops, and a Sunday farmer's market. You will get a cardio burst as you walk uphill from Highway 101. Check-in and check-out were seamless. Even on an unseasonably hot May weekend - temps in the 90s - we were never uncomfortable.

My sister and I and our families stayed here over the long Christmas weekend. It was the perfect house for a family with kids and a couple dogs. The game room was a hit as well as the hot tub. The house was clean and had ample supplies, towels, etc. The kitchen was very well stocked with cookware, dishes, etc. We were there during a big winter storm, so as the wind and rain howled outside, we were cozy inside enjoying the amazing views of the huge ocean waves while staying warm in front of the fire inside. I was very impressed that we never lost power! Sweet Homes were fantastic with their clear communication and easy to follow instructions. We had a great time!

We were looking for a place to restore our spirits and this was the perfect place to do that. The home was beautiful, comfortable, welcoming, and well appointed with what we needed. The location is hard to beat - in the heart of the village within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the beach. It really is a special home and I'd highly recommend to anyone with a family to stay there. Some of my family's favorite things about our stay at Honoka House were the breathtaking, spectacular views of the beach, listening to the ocean waves at night, watching hummingbirds right outside our window, relaxing in the hot tub as we gazed at the evening sky, picking up local treats at the Farmer's Market and C&K Market to cook up in the kitchen, and reading in the upstairs nook overlooking the ocean waves. We were grateful for the opportunity to experience this lovely home and hope to return again soon.

We had a lovely 3 generation family vacation at Honoka House. The layout gave each set of family members their own private spaces as well as spaces to gather on an outside deck for an evening sunset, indoor living room for conversation and family movies, and a kitchen and dining room for preparing meals and dinner conversations. Such gorgeous views of the ocean - exactly what you want when you are visiting the coast. Located close to walkable restaurants, beaches, a market, shopping and even an ice cream shop. Nearby sites for hiking, scenic views, and sites are minutes away by car. We loved the hot tub too! The house has a beautiful aesthetic while being comfortable. Little touches like games and books, a dart board and ping pong table are appreciated. We look forward to staying here again.

This was a wonderful vacation rental for my whole family that allowed us to enjoy our vacation together all in one house. While the weather did not cooperate with us, we were so thankful to have a fantastic place to stay and congregate during the rainy weather. The property owners were very easy to work with and the whole check-in and check-out processes were easy and communicated well. Many thanks to Sweet Homes for the wonderful stay!

This is a great house! We've stayed there twice, now, and will likely go back again. Can't beat the location or the view, and we love treating ourselves to the hot tub, too. We play tons of ping-pong and spend whole days just drifting from vista to vista

This house is awesome with great features! Our kids loved the hot tub and pingpong table. The view is amazing and location is great to visit up or down the coast. We didn't bring our pets but if you brought yours you can tell this is a pet friendly house.

Beautiful home in a great location overlooking the village of Yachats, where everything is easily accessible on foot. Back of the property is fully fenced, and the decks have secure plexiglass, so it felt very safe to have our dog roaming around.

Has lots of stairs, but excellent location and the views are amazing. Would absolutely want to stay here again. Was happy that this is a dog friendly place. We stayed 4 nights and wish it was longer. Value far far exceeded the price. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend. The hot tub was awesome.

Location, view, amenities....those words describe this house best. It is easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and the water. Access to walkable beaches requires a drive, but not far. We enjoyed the hot tub, the well stocked kitchen and the view of the ocean. Definitely would stay here again!

We loved that this home was just a short walk to downtown, restaurants and a short walk over the bridge to the beach. Convenient and comfortable. We'll be back, for sure!

We've stayed at the Oregon coast many times, but this was our first stay in Yachats, and we loved it. The house was so conveniently located: up on a hill to take advantage of the beautiful views of the ocean, but walking distance to the cute little town and the beach. Our family of 7 found the rooms to be spacious and the beds comfortable.

The house had everything we needed (and then some)!  We would highly recommend  this house and would be plenty comfortable for their max capacity of up to 8 people.

Lots of windows and light, gorgeous view of the bay and ocean. Easy walk to downtown, bit of a hike to get to the beach but definitely do-able. Hot tubbing on the deck to watch the sunset was awesome. One or two wonky things but doesn't every property have those? I'd like to go back when we can actually take advantage of being in town.

We just got home from our stay at Honoka House and it was amazing!!! Four adults, four kids under twelve and three giant dogs and the house was super relaxing if you can believe that. Kids all lived in the game room, dogs practically lived outside because of the cool weather (it was super hot where we traveled from) so the adults had the run of the house, hot tub, Japanese soaking tub, etc. We’re totally booking again for next summer!!

Windows on the world of Yachats

Home was lovely and well appointed. Nice touch to have soft music playing as we arrived. The windows are all over the house and offer views of the beach, hills, and river. My sister did a painting while she was there with us, using the pastel easel that was available to set up with. She is an award winning artist from Grants Pass. She said the light in the upstairs room with the large windows and trundle day bed was the perfect arrangement for an artist to paint while some of us sat on the day bed to watch her progress on the painting. The home is very comfortable and the 6 of us slept well!

We have had the pleasure of renting pet-friendly places through Sweet Homes many times and have been consistently impressed with the communication, integrity, and helpfulness of staff and the cleanliness and functionality of our previous lodgings. However, the 13 days we spent earlier this month at the recently listed Honoka House were by far the best ever and set a new standard.

Honoka House is a short walk to "downtown" Yachats, has fine views of the river, ocean, and village lights, yet is very quiet. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped, the 3 bedrooms and bathrooms are well designed and comfortable, and the living room and dining room can easily accommodate 6-8 people. Internet service is fast and reliable, DirecTV with DVR made it seem just like home, and the fit and finish of the home and the owner's attention to detail were much appreciated. The outdoor hot tub was enjoyed each day and a bald eagle could often be seen flying nearby and occasionally perching high in the large fir just over the fence line. House and yard were perfect for our dachshunds and they had a great time too. We look forward to our next visit.

Yachats is truly "The Gem of the Oregon Coast" and Honoka house is now our "Gem of Yachats." Highly recommended.
