With an open concept main floor living space and a deck off of the living/dining room you will be able to enjoy the ever-changing sky and ocean views. Use the binoculars to watch fishing boats, birds, whales or the night sky. The cozy gas fireplace warms the great room on cool mornings or stormy days, while gorgeous windows keep it bright. Two decks invite refreshing sea breezes while grilling, sipping or basking. There is a well stocked kitchen with a glass top range, comfortable counter stools and a large dining table that’s perfect for entertaining and making memories together.
You will relax and fall asleep to the rhythmic sound of the surf in any of the four bedrooms. The main floor bedroom, with a queen bed, is perfect for those that don’t like to do stairs. On the second floor, you will find the other three bedrooms. The primary bedroom has all the amenities to encourage you to relax! From a private ocean view deck, Keurig coffee cart, and a see-through gas fireplace shared with the ensuite bath, you won’t want to leave! Choose from the walk in shower with six shower heads or the soaking tub to wash your cares away.
Enjoy your time in the game room or go outside for a rousing game of horseshoes and get ready to test your skill at throwing a ringer -- or maybe a leaner! After a day of exploring the many wonders of the coastline or walking the beach looking for treasures, submerge in the ocean view hot tub for the ultimate in relaxation.
Take time to explore the community of Gleneden Beach and treat yourself to wonderful restaurants like The Red Roof, the Side Door Café and the shops at Salishan Marketplace. This home is a one-of-a kind getaway for a romantic stay on the coast, a family gathering, or an adventure at the beach with friends.
Sleeps up to 10 – 4 Bedrooms, 2 Kings (one can be split into 2 twins with advance notice), 2 Queens, 1 Queen sleeper sofa in the living room, 3 twin rollaways, 3 Bath.

House looked just like picture and was more spacious than I thought. Was great for our family short walk to the beach and are pups enjoyed the beach walks. The hot tub was well maintained. Stocked with everything you need, the pool table/pinpong table and foosball was a hit with the kids! Was a great relaxing home.

We were a group of 7 adults and had a lovely family vacation at the halibut house. The rooms were nice and beds were very comfortable. (Love that they were all 'adult' beds) Plenty of room for everyone to hang out together. Pool table, Ping Pong and Foosball were a nice touch for a rainy evening. Hot tub with a view and quick walk to the beach were great. The master bedroom with soaking tub and fireplace was outstanding. Highly recommend.

We spent three days at this lovely house for a quilting retreat. The house was very well stocked with everything we needed for our stay and had plenty of room to be able to spread out our things. Will definitely keep this on our list of future places to stay! We had questions when we first arrived and got a very quick response. Check in and check out we’re super easy.

The halibut house was so cozy. It had enough space for each one of us it was close to the beach and everything was just what we needed for a great vacation. It was very clean. I would definitely book this house again.

We were a group of 8 and had an amazing time at the halibut house. There was plenty of room for everyone to hang out together or different parts of the property like the attached garage with pool table or deck and hot tub out the back. The views of the ocean were lovely and it's a very quick walk down to the beach. The master bedroom with soaking tub and fireplace was outstanding. I would recommend this to other large groups and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Every summer we plan “Camp Grandma” to spend time with our grandchildren. They range in age from 13 to 28. They loved playing volleyball on the beach. They are very competitive and played many of the games that were provided. Great place. Very clean and newly painted.

The house was perfect for our large group. The teens loved the game room and there was plenty of room for everyone. It was a staircase away from the beach and the deck was wonderful for sitting, talking and watching the ocean. We would definitely come back with our 3 families.

THE LOCATION OF THIS HOME IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT . THE BEACH IS BASICALY RIGHT OUT THE DOOR AND IT IS A WONDERFUL BEACH. WE HAD OUR 3 GRANDCHILDREN WITH US AND THEY LOVED THE BEACH. EASY ACCESS TO HWY 101. EVERYONE IN THE AREA WAS SUPER FRIENDLY, ESPECIALLY THE DEPOT BAY FIRE DEPARTMENT. THEY INVITED THE LITTLES TO CLIMB IN THEIR FIRETRUCK AND WEAR THERE FIRE COATS. MEMORIES TO LAST A LIFETIME. COMMINICATION WAS SUPERB, ANY QUESTION WE HAD WAS ANSWERED WITHIN MINUTES. THE HOUSE WAS SUPER CLEAN AND OPEN.

Nice, new property. Very clean and well maintained. Not directly on the beach front but you can see a bit from the living room. And you definitely hear the waves. I especially liked the bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor which was good for my elderly mom

House was incredibly well kept and clean. We had a smaller party of ppl compared to the maximum occupancy and it felt very spacious for us. Loved the size of the kitchen and front room. Compared to other places we've stayed around the area, this one had the best bang for buck price and space wise. Would definitely come back to in the future.

We really enjoyed this property! It was exactly as described, clean, comfortable, great view of ocean, and easy beach access. Our family of 4 plus my parents had enough room to be comfortable but also enjoyed being together in the open concept kitchen/dining/living area. Fireplaces were a huge hit as it was quite stormy for a few days. The hot tub was perfect for after long walks each day. We really appreciated the camping chairs available to use on the beach! On our last day our youngest said he didn't want to leave and could we come back!

This is a beautiful home, natural light and great views of the ocean. The home was clean, inviting as soon as we walked in. (There was soothing music playing upon entry) The only downside-the primary suite bed wasn't terrible comfortable, unless you really like a firm mattress. I would absolutely rent this house again.

Just For the Halibut House was exactly as advertised! 4 bedrooms made it very comfortable for two adult couples, one infant and one teenager. The house is spacious and comfortable for that size of group. Kitchen was well equipped for meal preparation. The pool table got a lot of use, as did the selection of movies. We would definitely rent this house again!

We were overjoyed with the property. It was very clean, the kitchen was supplied nicely with the cooking pans and utensils we would need. The home was well supplied with extra rollaway beds for all our grands and the bedding and blankets. Overall we were extremely happy with our stay.

We stayed here with our parents-took the senior dogs to the beach to enjoy it. Really appreciated the baby gate. We were able to block off the steps so the dogs wouldn't go upstairs and get stuck (they're old so the stairs were difficult for them). They lounged in front of the fireplace, went on lots of walks as the beach is RIGHT THERE. Loved this home! Everything was wonderful.

This is a large and comfortable house. The touches make everything more fun like games, hot tub, ping pong. There was so much room for everything and everyone. The beach is right there and even in February our kids had a blast going to the beach and exploring. Make sure you bring any cooking supplies, plastic bags, also grab a extra roll of paper towels. The beds are incredible and there are roll aways for extra kiddo sleeping. There is a ton of parking.
