The view and proximity to the sandy beach at the end of the 804 trail is amazing. The setup of the house worked well for two adults and 1 dog. We enjoyed being able to hike about a mile into Yachats on the 804 trail. We found the couch, chairs, and bed to be comfy. The kitchen plus grill also worked well for us to make meals in. The only thing we would bring next time is a nicer knife for cutting veggies/fruit. We hope to be back!

We had a lovely stay for a couple of days. Location Location Location - Proximity to the beach was so easy. We enjoyed watching the tide, loved the front picture window that opens and the half door was a great addition to views and air movement. The porch chairs were comfortable and had the view. the upstairs windows opened to let the sound of the ocean in and a cool breeze.

We had the best time in this cute and cozy 1940’s little red cabin. Wish we could’ve stayed longer and looking forward to someday returning! Just steps away from a big, long sandy beach. The views were incredible right from the living room - could watch and hear the waves crashing from the couch. Perfect amount of space for 2 adults and our dog. More spacious than we expected - kitchen was fully stocked and easy to work in with lots of counter space. A few notes: The king bed is super soft with an added foam mattress pad. Shower was a little tight and the stairs inside are a bit steep and narrow. Overall, worth every penny and can’t wait to come back!

We had a blast at this oceanside house! Check-in/out time was strict but the instructions were very easy. The close proximity to the beach was to die for. Having the private road was a plus as well. Inside the house was very cute, not the biggest space but great for a party of 2.

We just loved this little house for the second time. It is very homey and has perfect beach views and access. Our dog loved his beach visits as well. The home had all we needed for relaxing! We also we enjoyed going to Newport to try to see whales (not successful!), seeing Cape Perpetua at high tide, Seal Rock Beach at low tide and a nice dinner at Waterfront Depot in Florence the last evening. Thank you for being such a great host!

Perfect location! A cute little house with beautiful views of the ocean. Sandy beach to the North and the 804 trail along the rocky beach to the South. It was perfect for two people and a dog. We appreciated that the host let us know that we could check in earlier. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped.

Snug little cottage right on the ocean. Comfy furniture and big king bed. The windows in the living room look right out on the ocean. Situated on a long flat sand beach. Fun little town and great seafood at Luna Sea. Loved the whole experience and will definitely return.

Location, location, location ! We loved the Little Red House. The view was absolutely spectacular. Oh so nice listening to the ocean at night and watching the waves during the day. The location is great and you can walk to town from right outside the front door along the 804 Trail. The decor is perfect for the house and very comfortable as is the bed. The kitchen was adequate for preparing simple meals. We really enjoyed our stay as did our Yellow Lab. We would definitely stay here again

Lovely getaway over looking the coast, the view was amazing. It was clean and tidy, the host was clear and helpful in communicating. They used a check in tablet that provided most information that one might need. It is an older home so you can hear the high winds inside, which is part of the experience for staying on the coast in the fall/winter.

Wonderful cozy cabin on right on the beach. We had everything we needed, highly recommend! Great spot for a leisurely time watching the waves, readying and heading out for beach walks. Right by the trail into town as well. Hope to return!!

We had a wonderful stay. This place is a gem, small but sweet. Love the ranch-style half door that opens to the porch from the kitchen, so you can let the ocean breeze in. Note: the bed is very very soft. Will be revisiting sometime soon!

This is a picture perfect beach house! The photos don’t do it justice, the views are spectacular and the access to the beach is just steps away. The house sits just off the 804 trail which takes you into Yachats via incredible coastal views. The kitchen is very well equipped and spacious with those amazing views and access to a porch complete with Adirondack chairs. The living room has the best views of the ocean, beach and spectacular skies! Upstairs is a very cozy wood paneled area with two windows giving plenty of light. I would highly recommend this house and think it one of the best we have stayed in over the years we have been visiting the Oregon coast.

Can’t beat the location! Quiet and close to the beach, heaven for dogs. The sound of the ocean all night was soothing and the bed was comfortable.

We had a lovely time in this one-of-a-kind home. The kitchen is well equipped, the beach is steps away and the house abuts an Oregon State Coastal trail that stretches to Yachats and is a scenic wonder. Soft, comfortable beds and a charming, old fashioned house is there to greet you when you're done with ocean recreations. We recommend you stop by Bread and Roses for morning pastries on the back deck overlooking the beach. Bliss.

This was a cozy retreat for our family of five. Such character in the cottage and we enjoyed the gorgeous ocean view from the picture windows. We saw whales the entire stay! The kitchen had all we needed for cooking our local seafood purchases and the back porch had seating for all.  The beds are upstairs so make note if you wouldn't be ready to climb them (comfy leather pull out couch is downstairs). Also, noted that the bathroom and shower are smaller (it's a cottage) but clean and had plenty of towels. We would like to return!!

Our family had the most wonderful vacation at the little red hideaway. I cannot describe in words how perfect the location is, right next to the 804 trail, and steps from the ocean. The waves can be heard to lull you to sleep every evening after watching the sunset. The house is cozy, cute and perfect for a little family. We will absolutely visit again.

There's not a single bad thing I can say about this place.  Perfect size for 2 people + dog.  The location could not be better.  The beach and hiking trail is just steps away, and you have the best view of the ocean.  I don't want to say too many good things about this place because it will make it harder for me to book here again in the future.
