My family and I had a great vacation. The home was in a great location with easy access to Newport and Waldport. We had everything we needed to relax and enjoy time together. The kitchen was well stocked and it was great to be able to walk to the beach.

My family of 4 plus our dog stayed for 4 nights. It was clean and ready to go before our original check-in time. the kitchen had everything needed for cooking and baking. It was a 5-min walk down to the beach. The hot tub is great after hanging out at the beach. There is a partial view of the beach from the house. Everything was clean and comfortable. I would definitely go back.

It was a very comfortable and relaxing home with great views of the ocean. It had a great sense of privacy as well. We loved the fact that we didn’t have to drive anywhere except for the amazing Waldport bakery, and that we could walk to the beach!

This was a gorgeous home that while in a neighborhood felt very secluded with all the vegetation around it. The place was very clean and had beautiful natural lighting. The kitchen was very well stocked with appliances and dishwashing soap. My partner really enjoyed the french press because we usually don't drink a whole pot of coffee. It was nice having a dishwasher because who wants to wash dishes on their vacation. I would recommend being careful when you jump into bed. The headboards move quite a bit, but as long as you're not jumping on the bed it shouldn't be a problem. Our very favorite feature was the hot tub!!! It was the perfect temperature and was very nice to sit in it under the stars and listening to the ocean. Highly recommend this stay. I this house isn't in walking distance to restaurants, but we preferred making our own breakfast before heading out for the day. A short walk from the beach where we found a clam fossil!!!!!!!

This property was as described. It was a 6 minute quiet walk to a wonderful beach. The hot tub was clean and working well. The kitchen was well stocked. It was warm on the cool day. Towels and sheets were great. Check in was easy. We had an issue that we communicated to the host, who was prompt and responsive. All in all it was a good place to stay for a week on the Coast .

I truly loved this gem of a house! I stayed with my boyfriend and parents and pup for my 50k race in Yachats and everything was perfect! The location, home, proximity to the beach, and yard were so lovely!! Check in and out was seamless. This whole experience took all the guess work out for me and I really appreciated it! Really nice remodel of a mid-century single story home. Nice open LR + kitchen floor plan, lots of light, nice deck and hot tub. The dwarf pines between all the properties in the neighborhood really make the place feel private. Very quiet at night. Easy walk to beautiful beach.

This house has everything you need for a nice little weekend getaway. Hot tub was clean, everything was in working order and the beds were comfortable. My only complaint would be the water pressure is really weak in the kitchen sink. Otherwise, absolutely would stay here again, glad we found it!

This is an amazing little house, a couple blocks walk from the beach. Newport is super close, as well as so many wonderful beaches and activities while being a perfectly private and quiet place to rest. The host company is very responsive during your stay. The property and included amenities were exactly as advertised. Previous guest reviews had helpful hints that were accurate, applicable and helpful. Unfortunately the hot tub was not operating for our stay- but this was communicated to us in a timely manner, with grace and a solution-oriented perspective by property management. We cannot say enough about this amazing gem of a neighborhood in Waldport. Folks who live here welcome respectful visitors with smiles and solicited suggestions. This home only enhanced our perfect family vacation. For other parents of 2 under 2 (traveling with a dog)-- the front door does not have a deadbolt or a secure locking mechanism out of reach of little hands. We might have traveled with a baby gate to help with this -- or another pre-planned solution.

Moondance Cabin was exceptional! Very private and we loved the neighborhood location with close proximity to the beach. Those windows with the cozy sofa and wonderful deck with hot tub was everything I had hoped for. The only thing was a concrete block needs repairing that goes to the deck from the front. Planning my trip for next year!

This was a great home for our family of 4 to enjoy the Oregon Coast for a week. It's a great location to enjoy all the area has to offer. The uncrowded beach is a short walk from the house. It's also easy to bike around the quiet neighborhood and explore a bit more than you'd be able to on foot. We didn't have any issues with the WiFi, hot water and/or the hot tub (which was used daily). No complaints! The kitchen is moderately stocked. There wasn't anything missing that we couldn't make due with what was there. Be sure to bring all the basic cooking supplies - salt, pepper, oil, etc. The dishwasher could use an upgrade but as long as we rinsed the dishes off well before putting them in, it wasn't a big issue. Trip highlights included several hikes in the Siuslaw National Forest, visiting  unique Cape Perpetua features (Spouting Horn & Thor's Well at high tide), Hobbit Trail & Beach, Heceta Lighthouse, the Seal Caves, beers at the Yachats Brewery, ice cream at Toppers, fish & chips at Luna Sea Fish House.

This is a great place! In a nice development, quiet and safe. The lot next to it is empty, giving additional privacy. The walk to the beach is an easy two blocks. Hot tub was wonderful and we loved the open floor plan of the kitchen/dining/living room area. Fast Internet. The check in was super easy on a tablet right by the front door. Would come again!

This place was beautiful and cozy and beach is a short walk away. The hot tub was wonderful. We spent a rainy day witting by the fire and reading. The big rain showerhead made up for the small shower. Very impressed with the check-in process and the amenities. Waldport is one of our favorite towns and we like being near a big city if we need something. Would highly recommend a trip down to Florence for a sand dune ride. And you can stop at so many sites along 101 for a beautiful view of the Oregon Coast. Hilltop is our go to resturant in Waldport as well.

Lovely 3 bedroom space. The wrap around windows overlooking the ocean were great. Fireplace added a cozy element, and overall furnishings were comfy. Hot tub and pet friendly! great space. Only thing to note, make sure to bring your own oil and spices in needed. Also, food storage containers.

We had a wonderful long weekend here with our adult children, celebrating Thanksgiving. One and a half days of sunshine were a bonus, with rainy gales and crashing waves in between.

We appreciated the nicely furnished bedrooms, the well stocked kitchen, the views and the mornings and evenings in the hot tub.

The big screen TV was great for watching the Civil War and kicking off the holiday season with some Christmas movies.

Waldport is a great location to access a beautiful section of the Oregon coast, and Moondance is a clean and comfortable small home with a beautiful view and a short walk to a large, sandy beach. We found excellent hikes, restaurants, shops, and activities nearby, and built one fantastic sand castle!
