Beautiful location, very quiet neighborhood. House was very well setup. Relaxing gas fireplace, beautiful views, comfy chairs and sofa, all the kitchen utensils you need, and a bunch of board games and books to enjoy. The backyard was fully fenced in, which was great for our dogs. Hot tub was great, and we got a lot of use out of the foosball table. In terms of hosting, this place is pro. Texts and emails before arrival were helpful, WiFi was easy, every detail seemed to be thought of. Good Airbnb.

This lovely home with incredible views was a perfect spot for multi generations to celebrate our parent's anniversary. Everyone had their own space, beds were very comfy and the kitchen was as well stocked as my own! The views are incredible and the fireplace was the best gathering spot. The hot tub was pristine and hot! We would love to return and highly recommend Ocean Watch!

A wonderful stay at Ocean View. Views of the ocean are stunning. Wonderful sunsets. A private location within walking distance to the beach. Also a car park at the beach if you wish to drive. Our grandchildren had a great time playing on the beach. Miles of beautiful white sand. Our group also enjoyed the hot tub. Communications with Sweet Homes was excellent. I will book directly next time we are fortunate enough to come to the Oregon Coast.

What a great spot!! Specious house with a sort of odd layout. That’s not meant in a negative way at all. It’s just not set up like any other house I’ve been in. 4 bedroom and 2 and a half baths. Huge living room with a great gas freestanding fireplace. One of the better stocked kitchens in any rental I’ve ever had as far as cookware goes. There’s no oil, sugar, sauces etc and that’s all stated ahead of time, so, be prepared on your own for that stuff. Anyway, it was really all about the ocean facing deck and an abundance of comfy Adirondack chairs to just enjoy the spectacular view. There’s a private parking area for the neighborhood right down at the beach for those “walking up a steep hill challenged” folks. The only misconception I had, I thought we could walk right out the yard onto the beach. Well,, you can,,, but you’ll fall off a big cliff first Great house, many stores within a short drive and fabulous views. We’ll be back for sure.

The house was perfect for our family. The deck and the views are wonderful. There’s enough fenced yard for the dogs and if u have kids there’s plenty of room to play. The hot tub was an added plus as our adult kids used it everyday. The house was clean, the beds comfortable and things well stocked. Easy beach access, just a short walk down the road!

Our host was friendly and responsive. The home is beautiful and comfy, with an amazing view of the ocean through a huge window all the way across the common space. Plus the upstairs bedroom had a huge window with the same great ocean view. The same with the deck! And an ocean view from the hot tub! (Which was crystal clear clean). We definitely hope to come again!

We rented this house due to access to Newport, access to beach and access to view of Pacific Ocean. Great views from the house, easy walk to on of the best beaches and the home was interesting with great art and comfortable furniture. The seemingly new deck chairs were a great addition!! Stayed here for a weekend getaway with the family and it was beautiful. The cozy gas fireplace and (pre-heated!!) hot tub made it so inviting and comfortable during a rainy couple of days. So many thoughtful touches. It's a quirky home, but the design made it feel just right. And the views can't be matched.

Check-in was a snap and the property was already lit and heated. Really appreciated the property manager stopping by to fix the foosball table so the kids could play. Spectacular view and pleasant accommodations. Would definitely stay again.

This was by far our best stay somewhere other than home. Walking in and being greeted by the beautiful open space and view of the ocean was incredible. Felt like home. Everyone slept great the whole time. Nice clean and comfy beds and furniture. The only thing that would make it better is beach access. Would absolutely stay again if we can next time we’re in Newport.

A group of 8 stayed at the home for 3 nights and it was the perfect getaway! Cozy, comfortable, amazing views! Loved the gas fireplace! Plenty of space for everyone, stocked with everything you could need! Great communication and even went out of their way for us to have an early check in! Couldn't say enough about this place! Would stay here again in a heart beat! PERFECT!

The house is well stocked with cooking utensils, pots etc. Loads of games and puzzles, DVDs etc. Some exquisite ocean views, especially from the upper bedroom. The hot tub was a treat! Be aware there is not beach access directly from the property due to weathering of the cliff face, but access is convenient-- a city block walk perhaps down the street to a parking area that is nearly at sea level.

We absolutely loved this place. Photos just don’t do it justice. Picture perfect windows to view the ocean from almost every room. We loved being so close to the ocean and hear it all day and night. The hot tub was fantastic. The only thing that visitors should know is that they clean and fill before each guest and it takes about 24 hrs for it to come to temperature. We thought there might have been an issue with it. The next day it was ready to go! The house was stocked with just about everything you would need to cook and clean up. Check in was easy and we liked the ipad that gave local attractions, places to eat, and historical sites. The master bedroom bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Private beach access just down the road (within walking distance). Pet friendly. The nicest touch was when we arrived, lights were on, music was playing in each room. We felt like we were in a model home. It was truly an inviting and welcoming feature. We give this place a 10!!! We will definitely be back!

Fantastic home! Would be great for a group though this trip was just two of us. Location is perfect just south of the bridge, tucked away in a sweet little neighborhood. Traffic is light so easy and safe to walk around, which is great for a pet-friendly home! Beach access is just down the road and we were super lucky to find a TON of fossils and agates on our beach walks. Pet friendly, but super clean. Smart TV easy to connect to and watch any streaming platform. Great gas fireplace in the living room, well equipped kitchen, and comfy furniture/bedding. Hot tub and fully fenced yard were the cherries on top. Would absolutely stay here again!

Loved this place because-- 1. The location is a quiet lovely neighborhood with an excellent view of the ocean. 2. One of the best walking beaches - and we have been all up and down the Oregon coast. 3. Beautiful deck with enough chairs for all of us. 4. The hot tub was a plus - we used it every day - sometimes at night to view the stars and sometimes during the day to watch the waves. 5. House had lots of games, books, DVDs and cooking equipment. Enough bedrooms for privacy for all. A large dining room table. Beds are so comfortable - the master overlooks the ocean, so we were lulled to sleep each night. And there was a pack and play for our grandson. 6. When we arrived, there were lamps turned on, music playing and fresh flowers on the dining room table. How nice!! The only disappointment was that the fireplace didn't work while we were there. Also wanted to address two complaints we saw before we booked this place - beach access and the late check in. 1. There are two beach accesses - one through the "woods" which we loved and was like a mini hike before the beach. The other is paved and can be driven down where it's hardly anything to get to the beach. We are in our mid-60's, and both of these accesses (we did not drive down) were perfectly easy for us. 2. The late check in was no big deal - we just drove down the coast, stopping wherever we wanted , ate an early dinner and found the 5 was a fine time to check in. We hoped to book this place in the fall, but found that the price was double what we paid in April - that is very disappointing as it really is a wonderful home.

We had the BEST time here for NYE with the family. The pictures don't do it justice. Beautiful, quiet, great location with walkable private beach access. Very clean house and hot tub, and very comfy beds. My son is allergic to dogs so I was worried there would be lingering dander from prior guests, but he didn't even sneeze once! We will definitely be back!!

Such a lovely home, very large. Bigger than expected! Could definitely fit a crowd in the home. Views were incredible. Wish there was a path to the beach from the house but I guess can't have everything. Kitchen had plenty of dishes and cooking ware. House sits in a nice neighborhood that looks down on the beach with neighborhood trails down to the beach. The house was perfect for our family gathering. We spent our time playing games and puzzles at the big table, walking the beach and exploring the coastline. Great time, great place.

Stayed here with a large ish group of family and friends the weekend before Thanksgiving and it was the beast experience. Ample room, beautiful house. Comfy beds and sheets and great lighting. Hot tub was perfect, and watching seals play in the surf all morning while drinking coffee was the most perfect experience. The kitchen is STACKED with pots, pans, glassware, and everything you could ever need to cook (and we're a house of people who LOVE to cook!) Close to everything, but soooo quiet and secluded with nearby beach access and an AMAZING fireplace we had going the entire time 5/5!! Shower handles are a little funky and the heat has some small issues, but nothing that huge at all. Will 100% stay here again. Thanks for the great getaway!

This is a great house. We had 6 adults staying there and it was very comfortable and did not feel crowded. The deck was great, and there were some coast guard drills going on that kept four of us occupied for a couple of hours. We also saw some whales.

Great house in a beautiful location! House is very spacious with a great common area including a fireplace, bedrooms offer lots of privacy due to the smart layout. Plenty of towels were provided, kitchen is well stocked, huge selection of puzzles, board games, and books! The hot tub is wonderful! Views are stunning, the hose is located right above the beach, access about 5 min. walk away. Short drive to Newport with all its amenities. We had a fantastic time and hope to be back again.

Spectacular view! Great, quiet location. Beach was only a 5 minute walk down the hill (house sits up on a cliff). Fireplace and other nice touches made it a nice cozy weekend. Plenty of parking and space for everyone. We will definitely be back.

The house was great. Wish we could have used the fireplace but there were a few miscommunications with that. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay. The view is lovely, the space was large enough for our group and we loved that the kids had their own room to play. One tip is to plan on bringing or buying your own paper products as it is not fully supplied. They do have notes that you can order it but we instead bought our own at the store.

Our group included seven adults and four children (ages 2-8). The living room/dining area is open and spacious. There was plenty of room for all. Very nice view of ocean on main floor and from the upstairs "mater" bedroom. Kitchen was well equipped with everything but food! Liked the fact there was plasticware for the little ones. Plenty of bath towel sets. (A few beach towels on hand would be a nice touch) Bedrooms are separated enough to give plenty of privacy for multiple families. Beds were comfortable. (An open window lets one fall asleep to the sound of the surf.) Since weather was rainy we spent time inside and enjoyed the various board games available. The foosball table was a big hit with children and adults! We only used the beach access at the south end of Surfland Rd. Walked most of the time, though there is space to park a few vehicles. Had no problem getting down to beach but one section of path is a bit narrow and slippery when wet. Because of the intermittent rain, we had the beach to ourselves one day. The last morning the sun came out, and so did more people! Still very few on that section of beach. Before signing contract, manager promptly answered the few questions we had. Check in was easy. We had no issues during out two night stay so no need to contact manager. A very nice place to stay and child friendly.
