Absolutely loved it. Beautiful fun home on the bay. Central location for exploring the coast. Thank you!

If you're looking for a peaceful weekend of relaxation, this is the place. Quiet neighborhood. Right on the bay. Walking distance to restaurants and shops.

We loved this property! Short walking distance to an ice cream/candy shop and across the street from a store. The house sits right next to the bay which we kayaked with harbor seals! Fire out was perfect for s’mores and the brand new hot tub was fantastic. Fireplace inside kept us cozy. The beds were comfy and everything clean and accommodating. Short walk along the bay brings you to the ocean waves and sandy beach. We had a great weekend and even found amenities for our dogs!

We loved our stay at the Salty Siren. The house is well stocked with everything you may need. The house is modest and comfortable. It was easy to settle into and enjoy our vacation.

Spacious home right where the Alsea River meets the Pacific Ocean. Recently renovated, lots of natural light with a large backyard, big trees, garden, and deck perfect for watching the incredible sunsets. Easy walk to everything in Waldport (don’t miss Pacific Sourdough Bakery!). This is the perfect house for a large family, group of friends, or even a couple looking for some extra space right on the water and in the heart of town. We loved kayaking from the property—we even caught a few crabs and cooked them up for dinner. Highly recommend staying here when you visit the Oregon Central Coast!

"Five Stars! Our stay at this Waldport, Oregon vacation home was absolutely amazing. The proximity to the bay made crabbing and paddle boarding a breeze, and spotting otters in the bay was an unforgettable experience. Additionally, the convenience of having grocery stores and other amenities within walking distance added extra charm to our stay. The house itself was cozy, well-maintained, and provided everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We can't recommend this place enough and are already planning our next visit!"

My wife and I previously owned this property. We completely remodeled it in 2021 and ran it as a short-term rental for about a year and sold in 2023. I was so pleased that the new owners have basically left it exactly the same. It brought back so many wonderful memories. I will make it an annual trip to come to Waldport and stay at the Salty Siren.

We love The Salty Siren! We've stayed here twice. Both times we've caught our own dinner right in the backyard in the bay! The house itself is spacious, whimsical and practical. You can walk anywhere in Waldport which made it even better. We will definitely be back again and again!

My daughter and I stayed at the Salty Siren with friends and had a great time at this classic beach house. We enjoyed sunset bonfires and lots of beach time at the beautiful beaches nearby. The house has everything you need to go crabbing or clamming and prepare your catch into a delicious feast. And the beds are super comfortable and cozy with nice new linens.

Our stay at the Salty Siren was a dream! The details in the home made our stay easy and effortless. The house had everything and more that we needed. Plenty of room for friends and kids and we were not feeling cramped. The home design was perfect and beachy. I’ve been recommending this place to friends non stop!

We stayed with both sets of grandparents, our daughter and our collective 3 pups and there was plenty of sleeping space (my folks are in their 80s and appreciated the ground floor spacious, private bedroom and bath), (we loved the room with our queen and separate alcove and single bed for our 10 year old), we even had an extra room we didn’t use upstairs and the bathroom upstairs was big enough to share with our in-laws, there was comfortable space in living room and kitchen with well stocked and sized fridge and large eating and card playing table. We were grateful for the storage under the stairs and the provision of a dog crate and gated back area for potty time. Even though it was cold we couldn’t resist sitting on the veranda right on the rock wall and watching sunsets and seals and a pair of bald eagles hanging out eating right above us in the trees. There are lots of fun antique vintage stores a block’s walk away, coffee shack and drug store - very friendly locals - great time!

The Salty Siren is a coastal haven that truly captures the essence of the Oregon shore. Nestled on the Alsea Bay with a horizon's view of the ocean, this home provides an unparalleled experience of peace and relaxation. It's a place where the beauty of the sea and the comfort of a well-appointed home come together seamlessly. Its stunning views of the Waldport Bridge and serene bay waters provided a perfect Oregon coast experience. The interior design of the home strikes the perfect balance between whimsy and beach-inspired decor, creating an enchanting ambiance that's just right for a seaside haven. If I sound like I’m gushing about this place, it’s because I am. This is the spot of spots. Walk downtown in seconds for antiquing. Walk to the beach in seconds on either side of you or go for a paddle (check tide charts always!) Do you like delicious freshly baked pastries and breads baked by hand by the most lovely people? No problem - 3 minutes Interested in myriad beaches for that true Oregon coastal experience - take your pick. The Salty Siren is centrally located. Rainy day? No sweat - the aquarium bumps and it’s a 15 minute drive. Interested in a real dungeness crab feast? Get excited and get primal. it’s out your back door with the included crab pots (get those tide charts back out) Leftover crab + the clams you’ll dig literally STEPS from your back door and you’ve created a wonderful seafood stew to warm you up as you sit by the fire (indoor or outdoor - this is the Salty Siren after all) 5 star recommendation for those seeking a memorable escape to the Oregon coast
