We came up to spend Thanksgiving week with our son who attends OSU (2 parents, 2 teens, and 2 dogs). House is beautiful, photos don't do it justice. Very spacious, and the game room was perfect to keep us entertained during chilly weather. We basically had the beach to ourselves on our daily walks. Kitchen is really well stocked with appliances, dishes, pots/pans, etc. We had a lovely visit!

We had a wonderful mother/daughter vacation in this beautiful home with spectacular ocean views! The home is spacious, peaceful, cozy, and the kitchen has everything you could ever need. Definitely saved on my favorites list for beach trips. Can’t wait to stay here again.

We loved our stay here. Beautiful, quiet, very comfy beds, extremely equipped kitchen, magnificent view, found three different accesses to the beach. (Would show where they are, so guests don’t have to wonder/ discover). Would come back, for sure.

This property was perfect for our little family. Easy short walk to the beach, beautiful views from the widows across the back of the house, enough space to spread out but not lose a one year old, very quiet neighborhood and short drive to Newport!

Great stay with great views! Clean, cute, and peaceful. We stayed as a party of 6 and while it was comfortable, just 4 of us would have been a little better! The extra game room was a nice bonus, but FYI it’s in a separate building (garage like), not attached to the main house. There are two areas at either side of the street to access the beach, which are a 5-10 minute walk. Beach was beautiful! Last thing to note is bring your own coffee :) we would stay again!

The house is exactly as described. We spent most of our time on the deck overlooking the ocean. The views are very good from that vantage point. The kitchen is well-stocked and the house is clean and comfy. If you have kids, they'll love the detached game room. Thanks for a relaxing few days!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here! The location was perfect - between Yachats and Newport! The house was comfortable, well equipped and beautiful. We spent many hours walking on the beach with our dog, sipping beverages on the deck and watching the eagles. Will definitely return in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Seal Rock Cottage. The cottage was very clean and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked and the furniture was comfortable. The view of the ocean from the wall of windows is spectacular. Nothing better than washing dishes while watching the waves roll in! We had amazing weather and enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean while drinking coffee or reading a book. We hope to return to this special vacation home.

There have been times in our lives when we have paid for a meal or a stay based on the view… While the rest of the experience was subpar to the view. We are so pleased & grateful that our stay at Seal Rock Cottage was NOT one of those times. YAYYY!! The property is clean & beautifully decorated, plus includes many thoughtful details for the guest - thus giving us a welcome 100% retreat! The neighborhood location of the property is fabulous, as it is not too close to the road, quiet, has a great walking area, and beach access! And the view… Is stunning! Thank you for providing a wonderful & thoughtful place to stay.

This cottage is in a great location. One of the highlights was the game room which may be the best one we have seen in a rental. It is in a separate converted garage, was heated and had a variety of games. We would rent this house again.

We’d stayed at this property once before and loved it. We came back to find that it had also been updated and the improvements are all absolutely perfect. Fully equipped kitchen. Tall chairs on the balcony for easy viewing. Binoculars on the bookshelf for whale watching. A working fireplace. Every detail was clearly considered and covered. We will absolutely stay here again and couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Great house in an amazing area! From the comfort of the couch we could watch the tides roll in and out, sea birds dive and sway, and whales play in the sunset. A few minutes drive down the road we saw seals on Seal Rock and the most amazing tidepools. Hike the Hobbit Trail out to Heceta Head Lighthouse. Hungry? Good food is abundant! Luna Sea was a favorite, ate there nearly every day. Chubby Little Mermaid was delightful and has killer clam chowder! Rogue brewery is fun for aficionados, and great food to boot! As for the house itself, we have nothing but praise. Kept in immaculate condition, it's well appointed and had everything you'd need. The beds are comfy. The deck is fabulous. Check in and out was super easy. The game room was fun as were all the board games inside. I could go on and on but you should just come see for yourself!

We had a wonderful 4-day family vacation in this quiet, perfectly located home. The home is perched on a bluff above the beach with perfect views of the sunset. The house was very clean and comfortable and check-in/out were a breeze. It's not right on the beach, but just a short walk down on a neighborhood trail. The game room is great touch--my teenage daughter and I played ping-pong and battled for the high score on Ms. Packman. We had no complaints at all.

Just finished 6 days at this lovely property, through sunshine and howling storms and loved every minute of it. You can watch the tides from the bank of windows or deck facing the beach or the bald eagles at the end of the street from your kitchen window. We also saw a seal pup on a beach walk. House is well appointed with excellent wi-fi. We really hated to leave when our visit came to an end.

Upon arrival we found the cozy Seal Rock Cottage to be spotlessly clean, and impeccable decorated. However, the star of the show is the marvelous view!! The cottage is on a fly-by level with the resident eagle family, the 180 degree view of the Pacific is nothing short of amazing, and there is an easy trail to the gorgeous beach. The game room on the property is a special bonus and the fact that the accommodations are dog-friendly means that the whole family can have a fun vacation. We highly recommend  Seal Rock cottage and hope to visit again soon.
