This home is up on a small cliff that looks out onto the Ocean. From the front windows, it looks like the Ocean is right there, and you can hear it well in the background. Getting down to the beach on the path is simple and easy. There are steps and a handrail for those who might need/want that. The house has a ton of space and open but separate sitting areas so kid's games or videos are nearby but not intruding on adult conversations. We are definitely looking forward to staying here again!

Great location to explore the coast and beach comb. Well stocked and clean. It is a pet friendly place however so it goes with the territory. Hot tub was very clean and very easy check in/out process.

We all really enjoyed the stay. The views are wonderful. We saw sea lions right out the front window. The tide comes in pretty high so the beach is not accessible for parts of the day. We used the hot tub when we couldn't get to the beach. Or we played games in the garage. Fun for all. Cute little town. We definitely will be back.

Our family had a wonderful time over Christmas. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with every appliance you need. The wi-fi was great. The internet TVs have Netflix and Hulu. It was clean and comfortable with plenty of towels and bedding. We really felt at home. There is a pizza parlor and a fabulous coffee shop just down the road. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity presented itself.

Perfect location. Weather was rough so not a lot of time on the beach but it didn't matter the view was amazing and private. Had a wonderful time reconnecting family and the house had the view, room, ammenities, game room that kept us entertained. Sweet Homes did an excellent job.

We had such a nice time making memories at this beautiful house. It's spacious with lots of room for the family. You couldn't ask for a better view from the deck. It has nice access to the beach as well. BBQ worked great and so many utensils and dishes supplied to make dinners.

We had a great stay at the property and were so impressed with the location and amenities. The furniture and beds were very comfortable and the living area was so spacious. The teens loved the garage game room and we enjoyed a few games of pool and ping pong as well. Highly recommend!

The house was a great size, the kitchen was large and great for cooking meals, the interior of the cabinets needed a good wipe down though. The beach was beautiful and mostly empty. The hot tub was also a big plus. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the game room and there were plenty of games and puzzles in the house as well. The neighborhood was quiet. Overall a wonderful experience and we will be booking again.

The pictures do not do the place justice. We loved the home. It was very quiet and private which is important to us. The staff was wonderful in accommodating our request. We loved the deck and the ability to watch the Sea Lions and whales swim by in the mornings. Incredible stay! Thank you again for hosting us.

Honestly, this house was much more than we expected. The house is situated beautifully, it feels like every room takes advantage of the oceanfront location. The water was closer than we've ever been, we could see sea lions diving while doing the dishes. The bathtub was a plus, almost all of us took advantage of it. We will be back!

My family really enjoyed the lovely sounds and views of the ocean from this home, and found this very relaxing. Beach access is very close, and going between the hot tub to warm up and the beach (rinse and repeat) is easy even for someone not that physically fit. So are all the short but beautiful hikes in the area near Yachats, including Cape Perpetua. There are a lot of nice restaurants/coffee shops in Yachats, but the house is close enough to also easily visit Newport where the Oregon Coast Aquarium is located, as well as go gray whale watching and crabbing (catch and release) with the Marine Discovery Tours. I wasn't very impressed with the garage game room or the futon in the south living room (yes there are two living rooms), but rest of the lovely home more than makes up for those, especially the master bedroom and super comfy furniture in the north living room! I have been in other beach homes that were hard to keep cool on sunny days and I was uncomfortable, but this home is well designed to catch the ocean breezes and keep you as comfortable as any air conditioning can. In Kansas, I use air conditioning from May through October btw. I highly recommend this property!

This was an amazing place to stay! The house is wonderful and very family friendly. The kids had plenty of space to play and the beach was just 27 stairs away. The hot tub was wonderful! The kitchen was well supplied with all the dishes and appliances that we needed. The games in the garage were nice but the pool balls did not return so the kids were only able to play one game. The ping pong was nice though. It was a great place to stay. Our group ranged in ages from 70 down to 4 and everyone was very comfortable. We didn't want to leave! The staff was very nice. We unfortunately had difficulties packing the cars so we met the housekeeper. She was very friendly, understanding and the house was very clean. We are hoping to return to the coast next year and would love to stay here again. Thank you for helping make this vacation all we were hoping for!

Secluded gem with a perfect beach experience! This spacious home was perfect for spring break at the coast with some whale watching, seal spotting, reading, watching movies on the suuuuper comfy recliners, taking a bath or hot tub and looking at the stars!  There is a box of puzzles and a few toys that my kiddo enjoyed exploring. The views are incredible, I absolutely loved sitting in the living room and enjoying the waves. The sandy beach is a quick, private walk down some solid steps and even on the sunny days we mostly had the beach to ourselves. We will almost certainly be back!

As one of a family of 10, we enjoyed the beautiful beach daily and the hot-tub at least twice daily! The kids loved flying the kites (found at the liquor store!), digging to China, making sandcastles that I'm sure were the best of the week! Thank you for sharing the house...there is a great walkway (stairs) to the beach! Please, if you make any improvements...more toilet paper adn more towels!!!

What a beautiful home! Loved that when we arrived there was beautiful spa music playing on all the TVs, it really put you into vacation/relaxation mode. The house was very clean and welcoming. We ate dinner every night on the porch as the sun set it was beautiful. The master bedroom was very spacious and loved listening to the ocean waves all night! The bubble bath with an ocean view was spectacular! I would definitely recommend this home, I wish we could have stayed longer the Oregon coast is a must see! This home is very close to some great scenic hikes.

Had a perfect visit. Great house, excellent location. Close enough to town yet secluded and private. Would be hard to find a house with a better view. Everything in the house was as advertised and worked well. Plenty of space in the house for people to have their privacy, and the common area is spacious enough for everyone to come together. Can't go wrong with choosing this property

Our family (two adults, two teens, and our dog) stayed at this home during the holidays and absolutely loved our time there. The location is outstanding with panoramic views of the ocean and a mere 5 minute drive from town. Our kids had a great time playing ping pong and pool, while the adults enjoyed the front porch hot tub. We will definitely be looking forward to another stay in the future. If you're looking for great amenities, family friendly, with a quiet location, near town, this is the place.

We are so excited to share our family experience. We were looking for a house that would accommodate my Husband and I, our two kids and their families. The sunset house was great it was large enough that the older Grandkids could have their own space and the younger ones could have there's. The younger kids could go to the beach and we didn't have to worry, we could watch them from the deck. This was a great house the kids enjoyed flying kites, building sandcastles, we were alittle concerned about the steps to the beach but it was easy walking for us older ones, there was so much to do they never even wanted to leave the house. The hot tub was a great addition younger ones would get in during the day and the adults would soak in the evening. The game tables were great especially for a very competitive family. As the Grandma I could stay in the kitchen and cook all day with no problem the view from the kitchen window was great. We built a campfire on the beach for the 4th of July and made smores and watched the fireworks, excited we didn't have to look or fight for parking in town. I would definitely rent this house again, I would probably ask for an extra outside trash can because we seemed to accumulate a lot of garbage. Movies, puzzles, books, games, and the view.

This ocean view home was wonderful...it has everything you could possibly need for relaxing and preparing meals. We spent the entire week and loved that we could bring our furbabies...because they love the beach as much as we do! Really enjoyed the hot tub!!! Having the pool table and ping pong table was an added bonus. The ocean views from the living room were peaceful and just beautiful...we love this area...it's almost like having the beach to yourself. There is a nice walkway with quite a few stairs down to the beach. Would definitely stay here again. They provide games...books...movies...you honestly never have to leave for a thing...except groceries and ice.
