Great place. Beautiful backyard garden setting overlooking the ocean. The private beach access stairway was not obvious as it looks like you have to go through the neighbors backyard, but host assured us it was ok.

This place is so charming and beautiful! We loved staying here. Getting down to the beach can be hard if you’re not in good shape, however we had no issues! Definitely check out the beach when the tide is low what a treat.

We loved our stay at Tranquility Rocks and would definitely like to return. The fire pit was perfect for our summer solstice retreat! We saw bald eagles and ospreys. We were content to spend most of our time at the home and on the property and were pleased with how well the kitchen was stocked with cook wear. The views are amazing and the grounds are well kept and beautiful.

Where do I start? The location, the views, the garden, the beach - it was all just spectacular. Perhaps what I loved most about this house was the number and variety of places where you can just sit peacefully and drink in the absolutely breathtaking beauty. We are a family of five, and the space was just big enough for us, but it had everything we needed, and there has obviously been a lot of thought put into making guests comfortable here. I would definitely come back!

We loved this house! It was a lovely location, with a perfect view of the north side of Seal Rock. We enjoyed the hot tub, the campfire, and, of course, the beach access. Perfectly situated in between Newport and Waldport, and easy to reach and find. We come to the Oregon Coast every year and this has been my favorite rental yet. Thank you!

Amazing views. Very comfortable house and well stocked kitchen of appliances and dishes. I really cannot understate the amazing view of the area, beach & sunset. We booked another night because we didn’t want to leave. Pet friendly and host was very accommodating and welcoming to the fact that we were bringing pets. The garage made it easy to have pets as well after hitting the beach. Would stay again.

This rental was expensive for the two of us—it would have been more reasonable if we’d split it with another couple—but the stunning views and gorgeous outside spaces combined with the cozy interiors made it worth it. Absolutely loved being able to see the ocean from the bedroom!

One of the most beautiful places we've rented anywhere! And right on the coast, above the ocean, with a stunning beach stretching between Seal Rock and Ona Beach. Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, fantastic kitchen, and a hot tub! We loved our 3-night stay with family members and dog. Near enough to Newport and Yachats to drive there for meals or sightseeing. Can't recommend this place enough! Be prepared for a steep climb down to the beach, but we managed it.

This property has such a stunning view! The master bedroom has a window nearly the size of the entire back wall with a stunning look over the landscaped yard at the ocean. The kitchen is well appointed and the home has lots of comfortable seating and space to unwind and enjoy your stay at the coast. We will certainly be back.

We loved our stay at the house. We celebrated my in-laws 50th anniversary and the house was perfect. The views were amazing. The hot tub was perfect. And the house was ideal. We had 6 adults and the house was plenty of space; especially since we spent most of our time outside!

The property is beautiful and well equipped (including marshmallow skewers and some things to play with at the beach). Had a slight hiccup with the assigned door code not working but the property manager responded quickly and gave us a new code that worked. The tide pools and rocks on the beach behind the property were spectacular full of sea stars, crabs, and anemones. Great stay!

Fantastic home with the most amazing yard Oregon can offer. Yes it's a steep step climb to the beach, but if you're able to do bleacher like stairs, this beach doesn't disappoint.

Tranquility Rocks is the perfect name for this gorgeous beachfront home in Seal Rock, Oregon. We visited as two couples, two young children and a dog, and the house was the perfect size for us. We most enjoyed the backyard, where there were so many sitting areas to take in the view. Not to mention, the picture windows from the bedroom, living room and dining area. The location is perfect for exploring the Central Coast. The only things to note for future visitors is that the home is situated on a cliff above the beach. You have to walk down steep, sketchy stairs to the ocean, and there's a sheer drop from most sitting areas, so keep an eye on kids and pets!

Such a lovely house overlooking the ocean! The view is amazing - we got to watch sea lions sunbath on the rocks from the comfort of our couch. There is a bit of a climb down to the beach. The kitchen was very well-equipped and the games in the garage were fantastic. The hot tub was clean as well. Overall we were very happy with this airbnb!

It is a beautiful house, I would totally recommend this place. Spacious, cozy Airbnb, the only critique I had about the place is getting down to the beach. The stairs down isn't something my grandmother could've done. The landscaping is beautiful and is very private. "I like the view, you're my best view"

This property was very comfortable for a week long stay for two. The kitchen had everything we needed and bed was comfortable. Also enjoyed the hot tub, ping pong and board games. Beach access was treacherous and we mostly drove to beaches that were easier to get to. Close to Newport for great seafood. We had our dog with us and the yard isn't fenced so kept him on a leash, also house is on Coast highway so no place for dog walks.

The house is located right on HWY 101, but with the surrounding grounds it felt private and isolated. The view is incredible and the house had everything we needed. We would love to return especially in better weather, so we can take advantage of the fire pit and deck. The hot tub is a bit sheltered so we were able to use it during the rain. The stairs to the beach are sketchy and the bottom stairs have been washed away, so a bit precarious. The other thing to note (might be a COVID only thing) check in is not until 5pm and check out is at 10am.

The home was perfect for our small family celebration. The home was safe for the youngest, a toddler. The tired parents loved the hot tub soaks. We prepared several feasts in the well-equipped kitchen. The view of the beach was incredible and the fire pit was a wonderful way to enjoy it. We played games every night around the table in the living room. This was the perfect location and home to celebrate beating cancer and reflecting the  survival of loss by suicide. Thank you.

Thank you so much for the stay at your beautiful home!! It is just magical here - the waves crashing are like a balm to the soul. The view is fantastic - and all the windows make it so breathtaking and memorable! The house just feels so much like home, and the cozy blankets & fireplace are the perfect touch. We had a phenomenal sunset our first night, which made for some awesome pictures! What a gorgeous home - we can't wait to come back again! It was a perfect birthday/23rd anniversary getaway- for just the two of us! We needed it! And it couldn't  have been more perfect- pastries & coffee just across the street, hiking and exploring all the trails and picture perfect waves crashing on the rocks around the Devil's Churn and Thor's Well and the Spouting Horn- beautiful! Then relaxing in the hot tub, eating at Yachats Brewery & Farmstore (yum!), wandering around all the shops & galleries, and just being able to be together! We have everything in Boise, except for the beach, and we can hear the ocean calling us - we love it here! Thank you for being so organized (love the kitchen!) and for having everything here for our fun getaway! We are so excited to get to come again, and will definitely miss the view! (And dinner at Local Ocean in Newport was amazing too!)

Thank you for the most beautiful views and cozy house! We loved our stay- just the 2 of us- left the kids at home! We spent a lot of time at the house enjoying all it has to offer, making fires and soaking in the hot tub - also tons of beach walking! Our favourite outings were Cape Perpetua, Haceta Lighthouse and all the amazing beaches. So many amazing places to explore. Favourite restaurants were Local Ocean and Mo's Annex in Newport. Loved Newport Bayfront -sooo great. So sad to leave this view behind! Hope to come back one day!

First time visiting Oregon! What a beautiful home to enjoy with some amazing views. Loved the fact that the home had so many windows to enjoy the coast view. We recommend the Hilltop Cafe for breakfast and lunch. We also made a stop at Rogue Brewery for a flight of beer. I plan to book this location again in the near future. Thanks you for the obvious time and care you have put into Tranquility Rocks! We were very fortunate to book this location and have beautiful weather as a bonus in March. What a wonderful beachside cottage getaway! You will NOT find a better view on the coast!!! The home is nestled in between hwy 101 and the bluffs over the beach with beautiful landscaping that only adds to the spectacular unobstructed views. Spend an evening watching the sunset, and you will never want to go home! Waking up next to the gigantic picture window from the master bedroom is absolutely unforgettable. Kitchen is very well stocked, towels and linens are top notch, and the home is sparkling clean with nice touches everywhere you look. We absolutely LOVED our stay, and highly recommend Tranquility Rocks! Hwy 101 Road noise is not overly intrusive, but it is present, especially from outside in the hot tub, which by the way, was spotless and in great condition.

Amazing views! Beautiful home!

We loved our stay at this property! My husband and I came with our two sons (13 and 9) we enjoyed every part of this house. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook meals, even crab. The game room was so fun for us to enjoy. The bedrooms were cozy and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit as well as in the home. The hot tub was a great way to wind down in the evening. The walk to the beach was a trek but, we enjoyed the views and went to beach often. The attention to detail was amazing. We even put a puzzle together that was there. Don’t forget to go to Seal Rock espresso drive through across the street for great coffee and amazing pastries!

We all had a wonderful time. The home is so comfortable and cozy. The view spectacular!. The stairs down were as described, but we had no trouble using them. The beach was nearly deserted since the weather wasn't great, but we got breaks in the rain and actually a little sun! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed a couple meals in and just enjoyed hanging out. The cute shops across the highway were the only diversion we needed. Great pastries at the coffee shop! The game room is a great addition and the hot tub was a good way to end the evenings. Thank you for sharing your place. We made some great memories! Our dog absolutely loved it, too!!

This was our first time renting a house in the Yachats area. What a fantastic home! This house was clean, decorated and equipped well with comfortable furniture and beds. It has king beds in every room which is a hard thing to find in a rental, so the only argument you'll have is who gets the amazing master. This home allows you to cook crab and provides a large pot to do so. We didn't this time but may the next. It has a nice large T.V., but who needs T.V when you can just stare out your window at all the wonders of the ocean. We barely turned it on. We took many walks in the area which has a nice little uncrowded beach at low tide. Our last morning, we got hit by a crazy unusual spring storm. The winds howled and the area lost power, but it made for an exciting stay. We would love to rent this home again someday.
